From a reference to your own content in one click
Every post on pixPLace keeps the media and, when the author shares it, the prompt behind it. Three actions on a post carry that reference straight into the pixPLace Studio, so you start from something that already works instead of a blank page. Pick the one that fits what you have in front of you.
Use an image as a reference
Take the picture of a post as the starting point of your own image.
- Open a post with an imageBrowse a niche or Explore and open the post whose picture you like.
- Click Use ImageThe pixPLace Studio opens in a new tab with that picture already loaded as a reference, and with the prompt if the post shares one.
- Generate your versionChange the prompt, pick a model in the Studio and generate your own image.
Authors can switch this action off for their own posts, so not every image shows it.
Reuse a prompt
Start from a prompt that already produced a result you like.
- Open a post that shows its promptThe prompt is shown on the post page when the author shared it.
- Click Use PromptThe Studio opens in a new tab with the prompt already filled in.
- Edit and generateAdjust the wording to your subject, choose a model and generate.
Posts without a prompt, and posts whose author switched the prompt off, show no Use Prompt button.
Turn a video frame into an image reference
Pick the exact moment of a video and use it as a still reference.
- Open a video post or a ShortFind a video in a niche, in Explore or in the Shorts feed.
- Click Extract Frame and pause on the momentA window opens with the video; pause it at the exact moment you want.
- Use this frame in the StudioClick "Use this frame in Studio": the Studio opens with that frame as an image reference.
Frame extraction follows the author's setting for the post.
